BACKGROUND

The Library of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development was established in 2001 as a reference center to channel information and reference on issues related to women, family and society.

OBJECTIVE

Provide information services on women, families and society with effectively.

FUNCTIONS

Strengthen and develop a collection of information resources related to women, families, children, the fatherless, the elderly and the disabled (OKU)
Manage and handle the documentation of a collection of printed materials (books, journals, magazines, reports, etc.) and non-printed (CD).
Manage the delivery of KPWKM Library counter services
Encourage and enhance a culture of reading and lifelong learning through the Reading Encouragement Program.
Manage and implement Current Awareness Services for user knowledge.
 
OUR CUSTOMER

Staff of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM), departments and agencies under it as long as they are legally serving.

The public, ie individuals among students, researchers, government departments and the private sector must bring a letter of support from teachers/lecturers/employers. Use is limited to reference services only.
